"BUT HONESTLY, THE ONLY WORDS THAT REALLY MATTER, ARE THE ONES I LIVE." -ANN VOSKAMP

Thanks for stopping by! I'm Theresa, the wife of an amazing Christian man, and the mom of two precious little ones that light up every single room and every single life we bring them into.

I have a passion for life, for God, and for discovering beautiful purpose in the most ordinary days. I am inspired by stories of mercy and redemption because they also ring true in my own heart. I believe in being present in all things and thankful for all things. In making life feel good, rather than just look good.

I am also the owner of a small watercolor and lettering studio called Blissful & Bold. I am very thankful and blessed that I am able to stay home with my children and still do something that I love. My son turns 6 in the fall and we have decided to home educate. It is something that I was once nervous and apprehensive about, but now I am completely excited and hopeful and ready to see what the future holds. I was also diagnosed with Hashimotos and hypothyroidism last year, so I have had to change my lifestyle in several ways and am working on healing myself with food, rest, exercise and the grace of God.

Follow along as I chase my energetic toddlers AND my creative dreams.

FROM TIME TO TIME I GET READERS EMAILING ME WITH A WIDE RANGE OF QUESTIONS, HERE ARE A FEW OF THE MOST FREQUENTLY ASKED:

What did you do before you became a stay at home mom? After graduating from Texas A&M University (WHOOP!) with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature, I worked in the Non-Profit field for six years. Three of those years I worked as a Legal Advocate and Law Enforcement Liaison for women and children of domestic violence and sexual assault at the East Texas Crisis Center. The next three, I was a Community Manager of Income Development for the American Cancer Society and helped raise over 1.8 million dollars in the fight against cancer.

I saw somewhere that your husband had cancer, how is he doing now? My husband is doing great! He is currently cancer free and has to go in for routine scans only once a year. The doctors seem to think that the cancer will come back at least once in his lifetime, so we stay on top of our check ups and continue to be faithful in prayer.

Do you guys want any more children? Yes! We plan to have more but will see just where life takes us.  Even if our son & daughter are the only children we are able to have, our hearts will be completely full. They are far beyond any blessing we could have ever imagined. Though I daydream of lovely things and far off places, I'm always reminded by the sound of my son's laughter and my daughter's sweet smile that Motherhood is by far my greatest adventure.

You write a lot about your faith. What exactly do you believe? I am a Christian. I believe that the Scriptures are inspired by God & sufficient to meet man’s every spiritual need. I believe that Jesus is the Son of God, came to this earth, died on the cross & rose again. I have believed, repented, obeyed- put on Christ through Baptism (Gal 3:27.), and was added to the Lord's church. I am by no means perfect and strive to live every day to the Glory of God, though I often fail miserably. For more on my faith, click here.

How did you and your husband meet?  His sister was my best friend during some of my college years, several years before we ever met. It's a fun, serendipitous story! I like to call it a divine conspiracy. :) You can read all about it here.
